Vincent Libiran began his competitive drumming career at Great Lakes Percussion in 2003 and  in 2004. He marched Northcoast Academy from 2005-2007, as the group remained undefeated  in Michigan. He finished his age-out year as tenor section leader and the group placed 4th at  WGI Championships. From 2003 to 2006 he was in the Michigan State University Spartan  Marching Band under Jon Weber, and was tenor section leader his last two years. This also  included the MSU competition drumline, which won the Best Tenors award at PASIC in 2004. 

He performed with Detroit Piston Drumline for its inaugural three years from 2005-2007, and  again in 2012 and 2013 led by Todd Ohme, winner of the DCI Multi-Tenor award in 1998 and the 1999 PAS Tenor individual winner. In 2006 he marched his DCI age-out with the Madison Scouts under Colin McNutt and Lee Beddis.
